About Me
My name is Allison Moody, and I created Cooking Thyme in the summer of 2014 as a means to share my passion for food and cooking in a way that would honor God. After a diagnosis of AML Leukemia in the fall of 2009, I experienced a journey filled with many trials. Through the cutting-edge treatment from genius doctors at the City of Hope in California, through the unwavering sacrificial care from my husband, Tommy, and with the encouraging loving support from my family and friends, God spared my life. I owe my survival to Him, so I am now on a mission to use the gifts and talents God has given me to inspire others, especially my daughter, Romey. Matthew 17:20 reads "...Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have the faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there', and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." My goal now is for my life to show there is joy after hardship, even with just mustard seed size faith in Christ. I pray these classes and prepared food items bring joy to and through all who participate and enjoy.
